“Sharing our skills with others while we wait for land to call home.”
Our story
In 2020, we knew that life needed to be different. That handling our food and meat needed to be by us or by local people we knew and trusted. And we knew God was calling our family to live life more slowly and focused on him. So, we moved to Eastern Wyoming in December 2021 and bought a cute little house on a 1/4 acre. We had no idea we were going to homestead this place but the drive to learn skills that benefit our family were too strong to ignore. So, we decided to use what God blessed us with and began to break ground on our tiny homestead. We built a garden and a chicken coop. Then Marissa focused on learning skills like canning, baking and selling sourdough and so much more!
We know that pouring not only into our children but our local community is so beneficial to all. So as we wait for lots of land join us on our journey as we share what we have learned, baked, raised and cared for. You never know what you mind find while you check out our journey. Hopefully learn some skills that can help you too!
